Verse of the Day

Everyday I will try to come online to leave at least one new verse up to discuss.  Try to take some time to memorize some of the verses posted because learning about the word of God can ONLY help you in my opinion.

August 26,2009

Today's verse is

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

I choose these verses because they offer hope to the hopeless and a new life to those who had once lived unrighteously.  It is so easy to fall from the faith, to detour from God's path for us, but because of his mercy we can say No to the ungodliness and worldly passions.  This is a struggle I find so hard to overcome at times but with our God who can doing absolutely   anything, all we have to do is submit to him.  God had sent his ONLY son to redeem us.  So that even if we made mistakes in our past we can move on and live according to his will.  I had made so many mistakes in my life that I find it almost impossible to count, mistakes that people have been unable to forgive me for.  But no matter how many times you fail God will always forgive you, there is no limit to his love and forgiveness.

Thank You for taking the time to read today's verses.  PLEASE visit the site whenever you're free again.

  1. Why are you emailing the link to your blog to random gURL.com members? My friend Niamh (who's a Pagan) got an email from you with the link to your blog in it, and I personally think that's quite rude. Not only is it spamming, but it's also quite pushy as well.

  2. You've obviously updated your blog since I left that comment, so why haven't you answered my questions yet? Do you just not want to face up to your own actions?

  4. oh sorry I haven't checked my blog comments. I went to gurl.com and went to the beliefs page because I thought the majority of the people there would want to talk about religion, and you were one of the people online so I emailed you, I wasn't sure if you were on the beliefs page though. Sorry for seeming pushy.
