Potter and the Clay

Jeremiah 18:3-4 reads “3 So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. 4 but the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”

We are the clay and our heavenly father is the potter, as the clay it is important to yield to God because he has a bigger purpose for us. We may be experiencing hardships as of now but because of hardships we become stronger. God has a will and a purpose in our lives and we most have his will not ours be done. Learning the significance behind the potter and the clay is important in order to understand God’s will in our lives and to overcome the trials we may be facing.
